In phase 2, the shield
is seriously weakened. The body struggles to maintain equilibrium. It's
a huge achievement : about ten billion HI viruses and one billion CD4 cells
are produced and destroyed everyday. This is also true in Phase 3 when
increasingly fewer shields are available for fighting other disease agents
